- Do I need to buy a meal plan?
That depends on where you live. All students residing in a residence hall (Cumberland, Garber, North, Pearce, Sanford, Weaver, and West) are required to purchase a meal plan. All students may select either the All Access or the Green & Gold 12 Meal Plan. Students residing in Cape Fear Commons Apartments, McLean, The Greek Houses, or off campus are not required to purchase a meal plan and may purchase a residential meal plan or an apartment/ commuter meal plan.
- Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester?
No, Meal plans do not auto renew for the next semester. A new meal plan will need to be chosen each semester. Meals on the Block Meal Plans are distributed at the beginning of the semester, and expire at the end of the semester. Note: Unused block meals do not roll over from semester to semester.
- Will unused meal plans or DB roll over to a future semester or year?
Unused Monarch Dollars associated with the Meal Plan will roll over from the fall to spring semester but not from the spring to fall semester. Monarch Dollars added to your account do not expire and carry over each semester as long as you remain enrolled at the University.
- If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?
Yes, meal plan changes may be made during the first two weeks of each semester. Visit the Business Office to change your plan or contact the Campus Dining office.
